Nadi Shodhan Pranayam - Alternate Nostril Breathing - while seated in Padmasan - Lotus Pose - is the most fundamental of yoga practices that every practitioner should know. Padmasan gives a deep sense of balance and stability. Nadi Shodhan settles the energies in our body, and balances them. Nadi Shodhan is a part of every class at YogaAbhyaasaa.

Hasta Uttanasan

Every asana leads to a sense of completion. While completion has the same end result, the process varies from asana to asana. At YogaAbhyaasaa, we teach asanas with patience and detail, so eventually, your attention turns inwards into yourself, towards your own sense of fulfillment.

Bitilasan - Cow pose

Yoga doesn't have to be complicated. The simplest asanas can give the greatest satisfaction when done with Shraddha - commitment, and attention. When we pay attention to the process of doing the asana, we obtain enormous benefits in body and mind. Simplicity wins over complexity.

Shashankasan - Hare Pose

Rest is an important aspect of yoga practice. In between asanas, we rest. This rest is the actual activator in our body and mind. Rest heals, clears, deepens, strengthens, and achieves the results that we want.
